OUR RECTOR
The Rev. Cesar Olivero graduated from the Virginia Theological Seminary in 2003.  He and his wife, Mireya and twin girls, Jessie and Josie joined St. James Episcopal Church in July 2003.  He served as Deacon until he was ordained as a Priest in December, 2003.  He was then installed as Priest-in-Charge until he became full-time rector on November 5, 2005.  Fr. Cesar is continuing his education in the doctorate program at Virginia Theological Seminary.  We are truly blessed to have Fr. Cesar and his family at St. James and look forward to their serving God and his church.

At St. James we are a multi-cultural community of Christians bound together for a common purpose . . . to meet the daily and spiritual needs of our community.  We envision St. James continuing to grow and still providing a family atmosphere.

It is our hope that we can meet the needs of all who come through our doors.  St James is representative of God's coming kingdom, in that we reflect the beauty of God's culture in its diversity and order.  We welcome all races and nationalities.

We encourage all newcomers to become active in our church life,  which includes our worship, Christian education, fellowship, service, envangelism and community outreach.

Fr. Cesar Olivero, Rector
